How do we as development officers sustain a donor’s annual fund support while engaging him/her to move towards a leadership gift? What are the key components to a successful transition? What are the proper roles of the annual fund and leadership gift officers in this transition? What about the needs and expectations of the donor? Join us for a candid discussion of these issues and more. We’ll explore the “double ask” approach, how to accomplish a successful and smooth transition for both the donor and the development officers, and offer suggestions on how the annual fund and major gift officers can work collaboratively with one another throughout the process. Our panelists have over 40 years of collective fundraising experience in a myriad of industries including healthcare, community service, non-profit consulting, corporations, large and small independent schools, and colleges and universities. We look forward to a lively discussion of best practices and an exchange of ideas!
